Works Committee
The District Council of Grant Works Committee was established by Council at their meeting held on 5th June 2000. The Committee will comprise of five Elected Members and the Mayor of the Council shall be an "ex-officio" member of the Committee. They will meet at least four times a year to discharge Works Committee obligations under the Local Government Act 1999.
The primary objective of the Works Committee is to consider and determine matters relating to Road Construction and Maintenance, Plant and Machinery, Quarry Materials and Road Funding Programs or Agreements and such other matters relevant in accordance with the Local Government Act.
