Refuse Depot Opening Times
All rateable properties in the District Council of Grant area will receive 4 refuse vouchers printed on their rates notice (1st installment) which entitles the bearer to reduced Refuse Depot Fees as listed below. Please note: The District Council of Grant Refuse Depots will be closed on days of Total Fire Ban as declared by the Country Fire Service.

REFUSE SEGREGATED INTO THE FOLLOWING GROUPS WILL BE ACCEPTED
AT A REDUCED RATE
Paper and cardboard (clean of food wastes)
Glass (clean of food wastes)
Bottles and jars
Aluminum and steel (clean of food wastes)
Fencing wire (no timber/plastic posts to be attached)
Cartons-liquid, paper, board (clean of food wastes)
Milk and Juice Cartons
Plastics (clean of food wastes)
Organic waste (free of metal/plastic/glass)
Garden waste-compost
Tree cuttings-shred/chip then compost
E Waste-electrical goods including TVs & Monitors etc with glass screens
Mattresses/Lounges- cut apart for recycling as directed by the Refuse Manager otherwise a fee applies (see above).
NB: CONSTRUCTION & DEMOLITION WASTE, TYRES AND CHEMICAL CONTAINERS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT ANY OF THE DEPOTS.

WASTE OIL COLLECTION STATIONS AVAILABLE AT ALL RECYCLING SITES
