Saleyards

The Mount Gambier and District Saleyards is located 10km east of Mount Gambier on the Princes Highway, Glenburnie. The saleyards offer seven livestock selling agents:

• Elders
• Ray White Keatley
• Landmark Tonkin and George
• Miller Whan and John
• O'Connor and Graney
• P & L Livestock
• Southern Australian Livestock

The NLIS (National Livestock Identification System) is in place at the Mount Gambier and District Saleyards and all stock must have their NLIS tag attached. For information on the National Livestock Identification System, click here

Mount Gambier and District Saleyards are now EU (European Union) prime eligible.  This mean that EU eligible cattle can now be sold at the weekly sale.

SALE DAY IS WEDNESDAY

Sale commences at 8am during the summer period, and 9am in winter, with the sale of bulls, bullocks, yearlings, and cows.  Bobby calves can be sold in each Agent's sale.  Lambs and sheep are sold one (1) hour after the completion of the cattle sale.

STORE SALES

Conducted the 2nd Friday of each month - commencing at 11am.  EU cattle can be sold at our store sale.
