Fire Ants

Fire ants have the potential to destroy Australia's outdoor lifestyle, environment and agricultural production.  The presence of fire ants will prevent our children from safely playing in backyards and family picnics in parks and playgrounds will no longer be regular events.

Fire ants:

• Inflict a painful, burning sting;
• Invade backyards, parks and recreational areas;
• Damage native flora and fauna;
• Injure animals and damage crops; and
• Damage equipment.
