DrumMuster

drumMUSTER is a National program for the collection of empty, cleaned, non returnable crop protection and animal health chemical containers.

The District Council of Grant runs an ongoing collection, with collections held at 324 Commercial Street West, Mount Gambier; between 9:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

This is a free service, Council operates a booking system during collection times so that farm chemical users can make a time to deliver their containers. Containers with chemical residues are unable to be accepted, as this could jeopardize the whole program nationally.

All farm chemical users are encouraged to bring their eligible empty, cleaned, non returnable chemical containers to these centres for collection and recycling.

Containers collected by drumMUSTER are processed and recycled into other metal and plastic products.
