The Port MacDonnell Community Complex Management Advisory Committee was established by the District Council of Grant at their meeting held on 21st March 2011. The Committee will comprise of one elected member, the Mayor of the District Council of Grant shall be an "ex-officio", the Director Finance and Community Services or nominee, one staff member from the Rural Transaction Centre, one representative from other user groups of the facility, one youth representative and one representative from each of the following organisations: Port MacDonnell and District Maritime Museum, Port MacDonnell Tourist Association and Port MacDonnell RSL.
The primary objective of the Port MacDonnell Community Complex Management Advisory Committee is to assist with the development of procedures, and make recommendations for the operational management of the Complex. The Port MacDonnell Community Complex Management Advisory Committee will promote and encourage community interest and involvement in the complex.
