Limestone Coast Public Health & Wellbeing Plan

The District Council of Grant is seeking public comment on the draft Limestone Coast Regional Public Health and Wellbeing Plan

Developed as a joint initiative of Councils located within the Limestone Coast Region, the five year plan aims to support the health and wellbeing of residents through a suite of priorities in public health such as improving access to facilities, mental health, cultural awareness and climate change.

Councils have come together to develop this plan as part of their ongoing responsibilities under the South Australian Public Health Act and the draft currently out for consultation has been endorsed by the Limestone Coast Local Government Association (LCLGA).

Under the theme of providing ‘A healthy, liveable and connected community for all South Australians’ the plan’s development has also considered the currentSouth Australian Health Plan targets.

The draft plan is available to view via the District Council of Grant YourSay website www.yoursaydcg.com.au and you can be involved and have your say by completing the feedback section. Alternatively you can contact Council on 8721 0444 to request a paper copy.

Consultation opened on Tuesday 1 December 2020 and closes on 22 December 2020.
