The District Council of Grant Community Grants Scheme is a funding opportunity for community groups to develop projects and events that enhance community well-being and increase participation in social and leisure activities.
Financial support is available through three categories including Halls ($1,000), Sporting Clubs ($800) and Community Groups ($2,500).
In 2019-20 Council received applications for various projects to the value of $40,000, ranging from new equipment and supplies for sporting clubs to maintenance and repairs at local halls. Council are reminding successful applicants from round 1 that these projects must be acquitted before a new application can be considered for this round.
Applications close 5pm on 11 December 2020.
