District Council of Grant is committed to making communities and townships within the district welcoming and inclusive for everyone to enjoy.
The Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2020-2024 (DAIP) demonstrates Councils vision for a fully inclusive society that values and respects all people as equal and contributing members of the community.
The plan has been developed in consultation with staff, the public and various focus groups and provides the framework to improve access and inclusion for all people in the community in relation to the following areas:
- Information and Communication
- Built Environment and Facilities
- Employment
- Programs and Services
The DAIP was endorsed by Council at its Ordinary Meeting on Monday 19 October 2020.
