Audit and Risk Committee

The District Council of Grant Audit Committee was established by Council, at their meeting held on 19 March 2007.  The Committee is comprised of four Elected Members and one Independent Member, and meets at least four times a year to discharge Audit Committee obligations under the Local Government Act.

The primary objective of the Audit and Risk Committee is to assist Council in the effective conduct of its responsibilities for financial reporting, management of risk and maintaining a reliable system of internal controls.
