The District Council of Grant provides a two bin kerbside rubbish (green with red lid) and recycling (green with yellow lid) collection service to residents within defined collection areas. Bins are collected fortnightly on a rotational basis.
Council is currently undertaking multiple Mobile Garbage Bin (MGB) route extensions within the district. Please contact Council's Principal Office on (08) 8721 0444 should you wish to find out more about the extensions or clarify your current designated MGB collection day.

It is imperative that bins are placed out the night before or prior to 6am on the day of service to ensure collection.
Please ensure your bin is placed with the lid opening towards the road and the lid is kept closed to prevent animal scavenging and/or win blowing rubbish along the roadside.
Bins which are overweight (above 70kg) or contaminated may not be collected. A sticker will be placed on your bin to advise of the reason for non-collection. Non Council issued bins will not be collected.
Replacement of Bins
If your bin is damaged, lost and/or stolen, a replacement bin may be issued at the owners expense. A MGB Replacement Bin Request Form must be completed and returned to Council via:

Additional Bins
Residents with an existing set of bins on their property may purchase an additional set of bins (one rubbish and one recycling) at the owners expense. A MGB Additional Set of Bins Request Form must be completed and returned to Council via:

Additional individual bins will not be provided.
