Council has a by-law which makes it an offence to allow stock to wander onto streets and roads. An offence will attract a $187.50 expiation fee against the owners of the straying animals. Stock found straying onto property, or an adjacent road, may be impounded by the owner of the land. If the owner of the stock cannot be contacted, please contact the Council on (08) 8721 0444.
