The Mount Gambier Airport can be accessed by road in just 10 minutes from the centre of Mount Gambier. For those with their own car, there are three parking options available, there are two free car parking sections adjacent to the main terminal. A pick up and drop off section where the maximum time permissible is 4 hours, and a section where free parking is permitted for up to three days. For those wishing to park for more than three days, a secure long term park is available for only $7.50 a day. There are four car hire companies based at Mount Gambier Airport. Avis, Budget, Hertz and SIXT are all onsite and ready to supply you with a vehicle suited to your needs. To guarantee the vehicle of choice, it is recommended that you book ahead of your arrival into Mount Gambier.
Taxi cabs also operate to and from the airport on a regular basis.
