Administered twice a year across three grant categories; Sporting Clubs, Community Groups and Halls, the program has delivered funding towards $189,000 worth of local projects across eleven beneficiaries.
A key project being supported through this program is through the Mil Lel Memorial Park Hall Committee as they undertake a major renovation’s in the toilets and showers at the hall. This is an exciting project co-funded by the Federal Government through the Building Better Regions Community Funding Scheme and the Mil Lel Community.

Mayor Richard Sage congratulated all successful applicants.
“The wide range of projects being undertaken in the district is exciting and shows the strong community spirit that exists amongst our communities and townships” he said.
“Council is very proud of the Community Grant Scheme which twice a year provides an opportunity for local clubs and halls to access funds to support community driven projects.
