District Council of Grant Growth and Tourism Manager Rebecca Perkin said staff are excited to offer this year’s Youth Week program and provide the opportunity for young people in the district to activate the youth area in the Complex.

“The Complex is a hub for community activity and many of our local youth already use the free pool table and gaming consoles available in the Complex. We encourage them to join the special Youth Week activities and would also love to welcome some new faces to discover our dedicated youth area through Youth Week activities,” Ms Perkin said.

“We hope to continue to increase youth engagement through the Port MacDonnell Community Complex and offer activities for young people to suit a range of interests into the future.”

Throughout Youth Week, bats and cues will be available at the Complex to use on the outdoor ping pong table and indoor pool table for no cost.
